Julian Stern is Professor of Education and Religion, and Director of WRERU: the World Religions and Education Research Unit, at Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln, UK. He is General Secretary of ISREV: the International Seminar on Religious Education and Values, and is Editor of the British Journal of Religious Education (Taylor & Francis, MEiN: 140 pkt.). Widely published in religion, spirituality and education, he also writes on research methodology, on the philosophy of schooling, and on solitude in and beyond education (as President of the ISRS: the International Society for Research on Solitude).
