In the Chair there are three specializations: Computer methods in the school education and Information technology in education.

• providing education with highly skilled specialists implementing computer methods in the broadly defined area of pedagogy;

• preparation of educating staff to play the role of consultants and organizers of gaining supplemental education in the area of using computers in school pedagogy, among others school councellors, special education teachers, elementary education teachers, teachers in care and educational centres.

• get to know using computer methods in the process of teaching – learning, the role and place of computers in humanistic oriented education and the scope of changes the means intensifying the intellectual process causes;

• learn the rules of designing process of education supported with the computer, the areas of using IT methods in the process of gaining supplemental education and self-education, organizing teachers’ and headmasters’ work in the conditions of common using computers in education and computer pedagogical diagnostics and therapy;
  

• get to know the social repercussions caused by using media in education and its surroundings (i.e. family) and ways of pedagogical influences.
